Can Nurture Life products be frozen?

Kids Meals, Finger Foods, Oaties, and Superfood Smoothies can be frozen for up to 90 days as long as they are placed in the freezer on or before the enjoy by date, which is printed on the packaging.

Purely Puddin’ can be frozen for up to 60 days as long as they are placed in the freezer on or before the enjoy by date, which is printed on the packaging.

Super Sammies are meant to be stored in the freezer. Mighty Bites are shelf stable and should be stored in the pantry, counter, or cabinet.

To defrost meals, simply place them in the refrigerator overnight to thaw. This may take anywhere from 18–24 hours for our Kids Meals and 12–18 hours for our Finger Foods.

To heat our Kids Meals directly from frozen, remove the tray sleeve, pierce the tray film with a fork and microwave on high for 2 minutes. After the initial heating period, fully remove or open the film, stir each component thoroughly, and then continue heating in 30-second intervals until the desired serving temperature is reached. (NOTE: Our Finger Food jars are not microwave safe. We recommend using our thawing method listed above.)
